eTaxi is a Kenyan ride-hailing and delivery platform connecting riders, boda boda operators, and drivers across the country. We built eTaxi to make everyday movement in Kenya simpler — one app for rides, boda boda, and package delivery, with upfront pricing and payment by M-Pesa or cash.
Our mission
We exist to give Kenyan riders a reliable, fairly priced way to move, and to give Kenyan drivers a platform that keeps more of every fare in their pocket. Everyday transport shouldn't come with a middleman taking an outsized cut — that's the problem eTaxi is built to solve.
What we offer

Where we operate
eTaxi has strong driver coverage in Nairobi and its satellite towns, Mombasa, Kisumu, Nakuru, Kiambu, and Thika, with coverage expanding to towns across Kenya. See our full rides by city list.
Trust and safety
Every driver on eTaxi passes identity verification before accepting trips, and every trip is tracked from pickup to drop-off. eTaxi is registered with Kenya's Data Protection Commissioner (ODPC) as a data controller. Read more on our Rider & Driver Safety page.
